Your first session becomes the opportunity to discuss your key issues and set the scene for setting goals, whilst gathering information on you and your background. This session also covers a discussion of the counselling relationship and any legal and ethical requirements of this relationship.
All clients must undertake this initial session.
Through a variety of techniques, I will help you work your way through the things that have brought you to me.
Some techniques we will use may include:

Goal-centred Therapy and others.
(Neuro ~ thinking) (linguistic ~ language) uses various techniques to understand how the client's thinking, feeling, language and behaviour produces the results it does. Those filtered results are a product of how we see and perceive the world. NLP teach the client to communicate on a much deeper level in a more effective way.
Clinical Hypnotherapy helps you explore underlying issues that you may otherwise be unaware of. Unlike the much hyped hypnotherapy seen on television shows, Clinical Hypnotherapy cannot be used to make you do things that you do not want to do. It is, instead, a gentle and safe way of seeking answers within yourself.
Hypnotherapy is only available in person.
Intuitive Emotional Release Work is my own modality that I use to help clients understand how their past has affected their thoughts, feelings, energy, sense of self and the way the combination of these affects their ability to live their lives. This gentle approach, safely guided, allows the client to reframe, reset and release traumatic experiences.
I have spent many years working with people in alternate therapies, including the use of Meditation.
Meditation allows you to focus your own energies and those of the world around you to help bring a more balanced you.
